At PLS Group UK, trees are our business not just removing them but planting as well. We have planted in all types of areas and terrains from woodland restocking to smaller scale landscaping projects using tree stock of all types.

A new client approached us to plant up newly created bankings on a major arterial road. For us this is a common type of project usually involving our sister company, Brookside Tree Services. All staff are experienced highways operatives with everyone CSCS trained and the majority also holding SSSTS qualifications. There was an unusual caveat though! Planting was to be carried out not only in the daytime but at night as well. This was due to time constraints on the busy stretch of road with night shifts implemented to speed up the job and minimise disruption to the general public.

Despite the night-time (and wet/cold weather!!) challenges, our team was able to complete the work safely with no problems. Night-time works were thoroughly planned and prepped at the end of the daytime shifts allowing night-time operations to be completed efficiently without a hitch. In fact, PLS Group UK received very positive feedback from the client regarding our organisation and professional approach.
